Great Orme
Cycled to Llanfairfechan this afternoon - took this photo of the Great Orme and Llandudno in the distance from the hill between Penmaenmawr and Llanfairfechan.

New Job
Started my new job today as a community psychiatric nurse for six months in the Llandudno area. Have had a few lovely cards and lots of best wishes from people and have thoroughly enjoyed my first day. I am shadowing another CPN for almost two weeks to pick up what to do etc. and have already got my own diary with two appointments in!

Conwy Mountain
What I love about where I live is the fact that within a five minute walk you can be up a mountain and have a birds eye view of Conwy, Llandudno Junction, Deganwy and most of Llandudno too. It is an amazing view and well worth the little hike up quite a steep hill to get there. The above picture was taken earlier this year when my brother visited and we saw these two little ponies up there. Previously there have been sheep and goats.

Bodnant Unit
This is the Bodnant Unit where I work as a Staff Nurse. It is an inpatient unit offering a service to people with dementia and also incorporates a community, memory clinic and day hospital service. I have worked here for over six years now and unfortunately the unit is to close in a restructuring of services in the area. Hopefully the resulting service will offer more to people with memory problems and help people living with dementia to live at home for longer.
