Santa by you.

Tried to catch Santa on his sleigh who visited Homefields whilst I was there over the weekend.  He was so fast it came out all blurry...

Horse Riding

A group of us from Bodnant went horseriding a few years ago. A friend from work has recently come across these pictures. (I must find my pictures...) What a great experience it was. We went again soon after but unfortunately the stables in Conwy shut soon after. We must go again!

Kylie X 2008

Went to see Kylie at the O2 in London a couple of weeks ago.  She was fantastic.  I've never seen a stage light up as hers did!

Lee Hurst

Saw Lee Hurst Saturday night in Bethnal Green. He compered at his comedy club for three other acts. What a brilliant night. Would highly recommend it if you are in the area.

Heinz advert ban

This adverts has been pulled by Heinz due to complaints! What a shame! I love the Heinz brand and doing this they have gone down a little in my estimations.

New Ford Ka

Ford Ka

Can't wait for the new Ford Ka which should be out next year.  I am due to change mine next year and hope this comes out in time.  I think there is meant to be a new SportKa version too.

Garage Site

Nothing left on the old garage site apart form a pile of rubble. There was a sign attached to the fence stating that they were going to build eleven properties there but that has now disappeared and it is apparently up for sale. Who knows what will appear?

Bricks

Have commenced a brick wall around the vegetable patch at the bottom of the garden. I have simply stood rows of bricks on their ends to form a rectangle which I hope will hold the soil just a couple of inches above ground level. I intend to sieve all the soil in it and fork in some of the compost from the compost bin.

I also purchased some seeds over the weekend to start sowing over the next week. Tomatoes, courgettes, butternut squash, carrots, lettuce, beetroot and Brussels sprouts. I have left it really late this year to start growing the veg but for some reason I just haven't felt like it was time until now. I think now the evenings are lighter and the weather a little warmer I shall make a start!

Veggie Burgers

Cooked some veggie burgers tonight and although they may not look much they were delicious. Made with Quorn mince, spring onions, sweetcorn, kidney beans, flour, an egg and some cajun spice. Mmm...

CD Storage

A new storage solution for our many cds! It holds about 450 cds which just about makes up our album collection. Cd singles and soundtracks and compilations are still stored elsewhere!

Garage Site

They have eventually got around to doing something with the garage at the end of our road. They are making a lot of noise at the moment knocking down the buildings and today I think they had a lorry there filling up where the petrol must have been stored.
Check out the following link to see how it used to look: http://richiesoft-onceaday.blogspot.com/2007/05/conwy-garage.html
